National Association of County Veterans Service Officers (NACVSO) 

May 13 – 17, 2024  
Denver, CO 

The National Association of County Veterans Service Officers pursues all benefits for veterans and eligible family members through education, training and our advocacy programs. NACVSO trains & educates CVSOs and veterans advocates in preparation, submission and representation of claims as well as advocates on behalf of veterans and eligible family members to receive the benefits in which they are rightfully earned. 

VFW National Convention 

Jul 27 – Aug 1, 2024 
Louisville, KY 

The VFW fosters camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts, serves our veterans, the military and our communities and advocates on behalf of all veterans. The VFW ensures that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country. 

Disabled American Veterans (DAV) 

Aug 3 – 6, 2024 
Phoenix, AZ 

DAV is a nonprofit charity that provides a lifetime of support for veterans of all generations and their families, helping more than 1 million veterans in positive, life-changing ways each year. With nearly 1,300 chapters and more than 1 million members across the country, DAV empowers our nation’s heroes and their families by helping to provide the resources they need and ensuring our nation keeps the promises made to them. 

National Association of State Directors of Veterans Affairs (NASDVA) Annual Convention 

Aug 18 – 21, 2024 
Indianapolis, IN 

The National Association of State Directors of Veterans Affairs (NASDVA) is an organization with a history dating back to 1946. In the aftermath of World War II, many veterans earned State and Federal benefits which required coordinated efforts to ensure veterans received these entitlements. Thus, states developed a Department or Agency specifically to manage veterans’ affairs and carry out the responsibility for veteran services and programming. 

American Legion National Convention 

Aug 23 – 29, 2024 
New Orleans, LA 

The American Legion’s mission statement, as adopted by the National Executive Committee in October 2020, is to enhance the well-being of America’s veterans, their families, our military, and our communities by our devotion to mutual helpfulness. The American Legion’s vision statement is “The American Legion: Veterans Strengthening America.”  The American Legion embraces all current and former members of the military and endeavors to help them transition into their communities.
